2.1 Comfort Home Improvements provides professional home improvement services including, but not limited to:
(a) Replacement window installation (double and triple pane vinyl, wood, and fiberglass);
(b) Siding installation and replacement (vinyl, stucco, and Hardie Board);
(c) Seamless gutter installation and gutter topper installation; and
(d) Patio door and French door installation (vinyl, wood, and fiberglass).
2.2 All Services are subject to availability and our acceptance of your project. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
2.3 Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
Quotes and Estimates
3.1 Quotes provided through our website, online booking system, or in-person consultations are estimates based on information provided by you and our initial assessment.
3.2 Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during installation, changes to project scope, material availability, or unforeseen complications.
3.3 All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise specified.
3.4 We reserve the right to adjust pricing if there are significant changes in material costs or project specifications.
3.5 A written contract will be provided before work begins, detailing the scope of work, pricing, payment terms, and project timeline.
Payment Terms
4.1 Payment terms will be specified in your service contract and may include:
(a) Deposit requirements (typically a percentage of the total project cost);
(b) Progress payments tied to project milestones; and
(c) Final payment upon project completion and your satisfaction.
4.2 We accept payment via check, credit card, or other methods as agreed upon in writing.
4.3 Late payments may be subject to interest charges or late fees as specified in your contract and permitted by law.
4.4 Failure to make payments as agreed may result in suspension of work and/or legal action to collect amounts owed.
Scheduling and Project Timeline
5.1 Project scheduling is subject to weather conditions, material availability, permit requirements, and our work schedule.
5.2 We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the estimated timeline provided in your contract.
5.3 Delays caused by weather, material shortages, unforeseen site conditions, or factors beyond our control may extend project timelines. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.
5.4 You agree to provide reasonable access to your property for the duration of the project and to maintain a safe work environment.
Cancellations and Changes
6.1 If you wish to cancel or modify your project after signing a contract, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.
6.2 Cancellations may be subject to cancellation fees to cover costs incurred, including materials ordered, labor scheduled, and administrative expenses.
6.3 Changes to the scope of work after a contract is signed may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.
6.4 We reserve the right to terminate a contract if site conditions are unsafe, access is denied, or if you breach these Terms or the contract.
Warranties
7.1 Workmanship Warranty: Comfort Home Improvements warrants that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Specific warranty terms and duration will be provided in your service contract.
7.2 Product Warranties: Products and materials installed by us may be covered by manufacturer warranties. We will provide warranty information for all products used in your project.
7.3 Warranty claims must be submitted in writing through our Warranty Claims process on our website or by contacting us directly.
7.4 Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, alterations by others, or normal wear and tear.
7.5 Our liability under any warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective work or materials. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages.
Liability and Indemnification
8.1 Comfort Home Improvements carries appropriate insurance for our business operations. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
8.2 We are not liable for damage to property or items not directly related to our work, including landscaping, sprinkler systems, or personal property not moved prior to work beginning.
8.3 You agree to indemnify and hold Comfort Home Improvements harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your failure to disclose relevant information about your property or project.
8.4 Our total liability for any claim related to our Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.
Intellectual Property
9.1 All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Comfort Home Improvements or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
